SOUL GARDENING: LOVING THE SELF
14th- 15th February 2015 @ Shekinashram, Glastonbury
This workshop is especially designed for singles, but couples can surely benefit from it too and are very welcome to join. Its aim is to provide a safe and nourishing space to celebrate the primal love story between One and the Self.
Without a healthy and loving attitude towards the Self, in fact, the individual can not really develop his/her full potential as a human being; nor can he or she ever be truly satisfied in relationship with another.
During the day we will work on releasing tension, activating the feminine creative aspect of ourselves and healing the masculine in order to create a more balanced, flexible and accepting attitude towards life.
One of the most common obstacles we are facing nowadays is the lack of feminine essence, even in women. After decades of having to be competitive, strong and independent in this male oriented world, many of us- women and men – have lost contact with their inner feminine power. Now that the feminine principle is arising it is very important for us all to balance our energies and align with this creative divine force to allow the latest evolutionary upgrades to take place. Working with Shiva and Shakti energies, we will explore ancient Tantric practices for healing, balancing and deep relaxation; somatic movement to release trauma and blockages from our bodily tissues; Pranayama to restore a deep connection with our breath and Yoga to ground in our bodies; sound therapy for a deep energetic cleanse. Below is the progamme for the retreat, but please be advised that it might be subject to minor changes.
